Report

After our visit to Dim Mağarası, a limestone cave in the Dim valley, we continued the excursion into the Sapadere valley. It took quite a while to get there because Safari Jeeps were in front of us and stopped many times to take pictures while blocking the road. Finally we reached the parking next to the artifically created ponds with turquoise water. After paying the entrance fee, a paved road gently climbed to the beginning of the canyon with its impressive entrance of limestone cliffs towering into the sky. We followed the path on wooden bridges often above the waters that splash down over several small waterfalls and deep pools in between. At the end of the path there is a bigger waterfall. This time with much more water and deafening noise. After taking some pictures we walked down and drove back to jump into the still quite cold sea.
